Terms
The terms that apply when you use Blyde.

Using Blyde
You may use Blyde only where you are legally permitted to do so. You are responsible for the information in your account, keeping your sign-in credentials secure, and activity carried out through your account. If you are not legally able to agree to these terms on your own, you must use Blyde only with any consent or supervision required by applicable law.
Academic responsibility
Blyde is academic support software. It does not replace your own judgement, your lecturer's instructions, or your institution's policies. You remain responsible for checking outputs, citing sources appropriately, and following the academic-integrity and AI-use rules that apply to your course or institution.
AI-generated output
Generated notes, questions, feedback, references, summaries, and other outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for your particular context. Blyde does not guarantee grades, academic outcomes, correctness, source accuracy, or acceptance of AI-assisted work by an institution.
Your content and permissions
You must have the right or permission to upload, enter, process, and share content through Blyde. Do not upload content you are prohibited from processing or sharing. You remain responsible for your content and for any consequences of using it with the service.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse Blyde, attempt to access another person's account or workspace, bypass usage or security controls, interfere with the service, upload malicious or unlawful material, infringe another person's rights, or use Blyde for unlawful purposes.
Availability and changes
Blyde is provided as an evolving service. Features may change, be withdrawn, fail, or become temporarily unavailable, including when we need to address reliability, security, abuse, or legal issues. Usage limits and reasonable anti-abuse measures may apply.
Blyde Plus and payments
If paid plans are offered, the applicable price, billing interval, renewal terms, and available payment methods will be shown before you complete a purchase. Unless the checkout says otherwise, a recurring subscription continues until cancelled. Cancellation normally stops future renewals; access already paid for may continue through the applicable billing period. Refunds are handled according to applicable law and any refund terms presented at purchase.
Third-party services
Blyde relies on third-party services to provide parts of the product, including hosting, authentication, AI, search, document processing, and payments. Their own terms and policies may also apply to the parts of their services you use.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, non-payment, or a material breach of these terms. You may stop using Blyde at any time and can permanently delete your account through the available account controls.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Blyde is provided without guarantees that the service will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every purpose. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Governing law
These terms are intended to operate under the laws of South Africa, subject to any mandatory consumer or other rights that apply to you in the place where you live.
